Flashback Friday

14 years old, 9th Grade, Indian Hills, 1990

Seriously, the background, white ladder, classic! That was my friend's Girbaud skirt, and I think my brother's old Polo shirt. And me, with a perm and some Wet 'n Wild lip gloss.

You look totally cute! The 90's were not good to me at all!
I love the girbaud skirt. I had girbaud's in every color. They were RAD!

Love the picture! I use to really want girbaud's, remember when you were only cool if you had some. I finally convinced my mom that spending $70 dollars on a pair of pants was a good idea! Your hair looks cute like that!

Oh my word....I know that look SO well! The polo shirt and the "super-cool" Girbeaud (sp?) pants (well yours was a skirt)!!!! I was SO jealous when my friend got some and not me! And Wet 'n WIld-that was the best, right?! Love it and I think you are so cute!!

Maybe I shouldn't have done the same picture you did. Yours is so cute and mine is really dorky. Bring back Girbaud!!!

I have a picture like this, too!! Like Steph said, I remember having Girbauds in lots of colors...ha ha You made me laugh OUT LOUD about the Wet 'n Wild Lip Gloss. I can STILL remember exactly how that stuff smelled. Funny!!!! I love this picture of you....and I really need to get going on my flashback post for today.... I'm way behind!! Isn't it funny how we used to wear boys clothes?? I remember even shopping sometimes in the boys dept for shirts. ha ha You're awesome!

Wow! Flashback, indeed! I had forgotten about Girbaud jeans! I remember I really, really wanted some. I finally got a pair at the outlet in Draper - they were marked down because they were irregular, but I didn't care because they had that little tag on the fly. How dumb. Remember guess jeans? Anyway, thanks for the walk down memory lane.

P.S. - we did enjoy our pizza! :) I didn't feel like making dinner. I thought you might have seen me because the light in your office was on.

Steph, I knew this was going to be good right as I was pulling it up. That background is fab, and the Girgauds - CLASSIC! I think I wore something very similar in my
8th or 9th grade picture. I borrowed my brothers oversized Polo's ALL the time - WHAT was with that??

I always wonder what we are going to laugh at in the future. Its funny when you think you look so cute and stylish and then it seems funny later... You really look hot in this picture. I love your hair, see it CAN curl!

I love this picture because I think I have one very similar to it...with the oversized polo and girbaud skirt(mine were jeans and they were two sizes too big). You look so cute and stylish (for the early 90s)!!
