Salad & Dancing

Kane made me a "snack salad" for Mother's Day. I was upstairs watching Survivor while he was putting it together. Which means he did this by himself.

The ingredients are: vanilla wafers, cut up strawberry nutrigrain bars, cut up string cheese, ripped up hot dog buns, starbursts and trail mix. He used a butter knife then put the dirty knife back in the drawer. Yummy!!! What a creative little chef :)

These are some videos of my brother in law, Jairon, performing with some of the dancers from the studio where Heidi teaches. Isn't he awesome??? He was the star of the show. My camera's battery died so I couldn't get the whole performance.

I heard about Jairon's contribution. Given what my kids think about Jairon, seeing him come out and dance made them laugh.

He did great though!

Watching that Dance made me think of my daughters and Mike...."Daddy, lift me up!".."It's my turn Dad, lift ME, lift ME!" He did great.

That is so adorable that your son made you a FEAST! I hope you ate every last bite! :-)

The people that moved into your house seem anti-social. Maybe they're not, but every time they pull into their driveway/get their mail/leave with their dogs for a walk, if I'm outside, I try to say hello, but they always turn the other way and ignore me(okay, all that sounds like I'm stalking them). I dunno...

That is my kind of salad, by the way! ;) Hope you had a nice mother's day!
