Good things

Since I can't think of anything too exciting to post I'm going to list some good things that happened in the past couple days:

Going to Anne Marie's jewelry party and being the last one there and got sent home with her yummy treats. (Post the recipe... please)

Kane giving me one of Asher's karate trophies and a medal because "I'm a good mom and keep care of him".

Learning some new parenting skills from a great counselor we go to.

Holding my beautiful new nephew.

Matt took Kane to preschool today and I'm typing this in my pajamas (it's past noon).

Laughing out loud at The Office reruns.

Got all my W-2's together and going to file my taxes by tomorrow.

Both of my sister's started blogs (check them out, the links are on my page... Heidi & Betsy).

I have had lots of stress this week but instead of wasting energy typing about that I figured it would be better for me to list the good stuff :)

You're awesome.... I loved your post. I was in my jammies at noon, too. :o) Isn't that the best?? I'm still in pajamas!! ha ha I like to call them "lounge wear". :o) It makes me feel a LITTLE better. It was fun to see you last night. You're so lucky you got Anne Marie's treats. They looked soooo good!! I looked at Heidi's blog and commented. (I hope she doesn't mind.) I am so excited to get to know your daughter better...starting on Sunday. I hope the girls will like me. I'm just soooo nervous. I'm not a "cool" hip chick....so keep your fingers crossed for me. :o)

OK...Sorry to comment AGAIN, but I think I'm either retarded or need glasses really bad. It took me THREE times to do the word verification on Heidi's blog, and FIVE for yours. Is that scary, or what?? I just had to admit my new problem. ha ha

Good job on getting them started!

Hey Steph. I honestly welled up when I read what your son said to you. I think I am going to start my period too! But still, it was precious even if your not extra emotional!

You are a better person then me. When I am stressed and feeling down I wallow in my despair. I think that is great that you took the time to focus on the good in your life. I should take a lesson from you. :)
I am glad we got to know each other a little better. Next time we need to sit closer though, so that I can really talk to you and get to know you even better.

You are a motivated chick! I am glad to see things are going well. The kids are growing so fast - I feel like I am missing it all. Tell them "hello" and we love them.
