I've done it a couple of times... with mixed results. The first time was the summer we put our house up for sale and it was nice to have the meals already prepared, and they tasted decent, too. The other time was before Abby was born last fall, and again the prepared meals were nice to have... but they weren't very good. Kind of comparable to airplane food or something... but not terrible. What can you expect. So I think it matters if you like the convenience enough to sacrifice a little flavor. I heard the prices are going down right now, so it might be a good time if you're going to try it. It's always nice to have a few meals on hand that are already prepared. Anyway, that's just my experience!

I've done them a few times before too. I always did the preprepared ones as well. They were nice, since I work and get home right at dinner time. I thought they tasted pretty good for the most part. But my picky husband and daughter didn't like them very much. I think maybe if you could go and make them yourself it would be better, so you could leave out all the stuff that your family doesn't like.

I thought the meals were okay, but my kids wouldn't eat any of it. That part was a little frustrating. It was really convenient, but I ended up having to make a 2nd meal for the kids.

Johnny-come-lately but Nicol and I read this one last night and started laughing....

I get punched in the shoulder every time we pass "My Girlfriend's Kitchen"... For some reason I just can't help myself from commenting as we go by:

"Look, it's Lynnette's Kitchen."

*Thwap*
